BURNS – WHAT’S BEST TO DO WHEN BURNED

You can cure the wounds that are on the first layer of the skin on your own. But you’ll have to call for a medical assistance if the wound is deeper and bigger.

The Egyptians used garlic for treating burns. Today, it’s not used that much, but we all know about its antibiotic properties.

Here is how to cure burns:

Put lavender oil on the burned area and cover it with a gauze. Every two hours put lavender oil on the gauze, don’t uncover it, just pour the oil on the gauze. Do this for 24 hours.

From the natural medicine, you can use also:

  • Aloe Vera
  • Yellow sorrel leaves which you need to squash

First aid with burns is very important. This is how it needs to be done:

The burned area should be kept in cold water at least 10 minutes. In that way you will relieve the pain. If you don’t have cold water, you can use cold milk or ice tea.

If you have jewelry on that place, you have to remove it.

Put a sterile bandage over the burned area and never touch the bubbles that appear.
